Mars Express has been launched yesterday from Baikonur cosmodrome

Baikonur, Kazakhstan - It will arrive in Mars orbit on December 26

From Baikonur's cosmodrome, in Kazakhstan, the first Esa's space probe for the Mars studies has been launched yesterday evening at 11:45 pm(6:45 pm Gmt). The probe has been transported by Russian carrier Soyuz, and will arrive to Mars orbit on December 26. Mars Express will remain in the Martian orbit for two years, with several scientific target, but the first is to establish if on the planet there...
