QANTAS BECOMES NEW LAUNCH CUSTOMER FOR THE AIRBUS A3XX

AUSTRALIA, Qantas has become launch customer of the superjumbo ordering 12 a3xx which will be delivered from 2006. The planes will be used on the route between Australia and UK, via Singapore e Bangkok, and for non-stop flight between Australia and Usa. Noel Forgeard, Airbus CEO, said it is delighted to see such an important and major airline to become a launch customer for the A3XX.
