CALIFORNIA: SMALL PLANE MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING ON HIGHWAY
SAN JOSE, A six-seat Beechcraft Bonanza airplane was forced to make an emergency landing on a northbound ramp on highway 87 in San Jose because of an engine failure. The pilot, who was alone, warned the airport of his distress and then landed on the highway during rush hour. No one was injured.
