Baghdad, Iraq - It's an important operation for advance to Baghdad

This morning, the Marines of the fifth Regiment have operated a carpet bombing against the important Iraqi landing strip of "Shaykh Hantush". Landing strip is about halfway between Baghdad and Al-Kut. It is a base in Southern-east of Iraqi Capital, considering a strategic-key, to allow the allied Forces to run to Baghdad. (0035)
