DELTA AND ALPA TO SEEK MEDIATION
USA, Delta Air Lines and Air Line Pilots Association are seeking for a mediator in their on-going collective bargaining for the new pilot contract. So they have made a joint application to the National Mediation Board. Delta has been negotiating with its pilots since September 1999 on a new contract. The mediation will begin on December 1 and will extend for a period of 90 days.
