Singapore Airlines acquires 6 more Airbus

Singapore - The aircraft to mount V2500 engines

Singapore Airlines has announced yesterday that will convert in an order the option stipulated with Airbus for 6 of the previewed 8 whose agreement was signed the last year. The new aircraft will be employed to SilkAiar, a Singapore Airlines' subsidiary regional carrier. The V2500 engines will be supplied by International Aero Engines for a total value of USD 100m.
