IBERIA: DROP OF PROFITS IN 1999
MADRID, Iberia, the spanish airline, reached in 1999 a gross gain of 30 millions pesetas, nearly 180 millions USD. It is a real landslide, a decrease of 52,5% compared to the previous year, 1998. British Airways (9%) and American Airlines (1%) are among the shareholders. Employees own 7% and the rest will be soon placed on the stock exchange.
