NEW PRESIDENT FOR VARIG

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazilian national company, Varig, has a new President, Osires Silva. He will replace Fernando Pinto who held the office since 1996. The new President aims at new negotiations of heavy debt position of company, as his first aim. Other goals to pursue will be increasing international relationships, and exploring all available market niches.
