Heavy difficulties for Varig that has debts for USD 900m

San Paolo, Brazil - The carrier will not be able to pay a USD 118m installment

The debit installment will expire in the end of this month, but since today the president of the Brazilian carrier, Arnim Lore, has announced this will not be honored. But he has added it is under studying a restructure plan of the air company that, at the present, has a deficit budgetary of USD 1,5bn. (0012)
