Cathay Pacific Airbus forced to an emergency landing
Hong Kong, China - Smoke in the cockpit
Because of the smoke detected in the cockpit, the pilot of an Airbus A343 belonging to Cathay Pacific has been forced to carry out an emergency landing at the Hong Kong international airport. Fortunately none of the 158 people on board flight CX507 - 144 passengers and 14 crew members - has been injured in the manoeuvring. Authorities set up an inquiry. (007)
