Moscow, Russia - Russian officer indicted for negligence
On last August 19, 119 military died in consequence of the shooting down of the heavy-lift helicopter they were aboard by the Chechen Muslim guerrilla. The lieutenant-colonel Kudiakov, the man in charge of the flight, has been today formally indicted. Mi-26, designed to transport up to 80 people, the day of the tragedy was instead carrying 150 men.
