Klm to buy 6 planes from Airbus, 2 from Boeing

Farnborough, UK - The total estimated value of the acquisition is over USD 1bn at catalogue price

Dutch carrier Klm has placed orders for eight aircraft. The airline signed a letter of intent to buy six Airbus A330-200 aircraft, with options for a further 18, and also put its name down for two Boeing 777-200ERs.
