SINGAPORE AIRLINES HAS CHOSEN ROLLS-ROYCE FOR A3XX ENGINES

SINGAPORE, Singapore Airlines picked the Rolls-Royce Trent 900 series engines to power its A3XX planes. Engines cost is $245 million. The 25 super-jumbo A3XXs will join Singapore Airlines fleet beginning in 2006.
