McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., is being awarded a $7,858,025 ceiling-priced order under a basic ordering agreement for replacement of wedges for F/A-18 ailerons. The wedge replacement effort is out of the scope of standard aileron repair and is required due to wedge corrosion in over 90 percent of ailerons that are inducted for repair by MDC/Boeing....
