KLM purchased General Electric engines for USD 250m

Amsterdam, The Netherlands - To power its Boeing 777s

The Us motor manufacturer General Electric has been awarded of a USD 250m contract to power Dutch air carrier KLM aircraft. The Amsterdam-based airline will in fact power its recently ordered 10 Boeing 777s with GE90-94B engines. A part from these aircraft, whose first deliveries are scheduled as of next year, KLM also announced the leasing of six more B777s from International Finance Lease....
