Boeing and Siemens have been awarded by the Us Department of Transportation (DOT) of a USD 1,37bn worth contract to install and mantain the Explosive Detection Sistems in the 438 Us civil airports. The agreement includes the installation of 1100 systems by December 31 as foreseen by the Transportation Security Act and a 5-year option requiring continuous improvement and maintenance of the equipment...
