B757-300 received FAA certification and JAA validation

Washington, Usa - Northwest will have its first Pratt-powered Boeing this summer

Boeing, the Seattle-based aeronautical manufacturer, received both FAA certification and JAA validation for its Pratt&Whitney PW2000 powered-by B757-300. The first airline to take delivery of this PW-engined B757 will be the Us air carrier Northwest Airlines, which ordered in total 16 of these aircraft. (m/cesn)
