Emirates signed a MOU with GE-P&W Engine Alliance
Dubai, Arab Emirates - To power its A380-800s
Dubai-based airline, Emirates, announced to have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GE-P&W Engine Alliance, the joint venture between two of the major motor manufacturers worldwide. The USD 1,5bn deal involves the supply of 88 GP7000 engines which will be employed to power Emirates A380-800 aircraft. (m/cesn)
