Northwest pilots say yes to the one-year extension of their current contract
Washington, Usa - The 86,8% voted for
Northwest Airlines pilots adhering to Alpa, Air Line Pilots Associations, ratified the one-year extension of their current contract. The agreement, which is going to be effective as of September 13, 2002, to end exactly the same day of 2003, will allow pilots to receive a 4,5% pay rise up to the end of 2002, and a 5,5% pay increase from then to the expiring date of the contract.
