United Airlines' traffic drops 13.9 % in May
Chicago, Usa - But load factor rises to 73.2%
United Airlines' total scheduled revenue passenger miles (Rpms) fell 13.9% in May vs. the comparable month in 2001, on a capacity decrease of 17.2%. However, the carrier's passenger load factor rose to 73.2% from 70.4% a year ago. United Airlines offers more than 1,800 flights a day on a route network that spans the globe. (004)
