Nato-Russia summit (4): Bush's intervention
Rome, Italy - "A united and free Europe"
Us president George W. Bush, at the beginning of his short speech said that the signment of the "Rome Declaration" would be hopefully a start for "a united and free Europe, for the first time without any war". "This agreement - added Mr. Bush - represents a perspective for a better century. We can thus keep on co-operating where we've been already doing, such as in the Balkans". (m/cesn)
