BAE Systems will buy 30% stake in Denel

According to local sources, the South African government has agreed to sell a 30% stake of its national defence industry Denel Aerospace and Ordnance to British company BAE Systems PLC. The value of the acquisition is about USD36.8m. The South African state will retain a 70% stake while considering further options, including an employee incentive scheme, future black empowerment...
