The Japanese company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries will take part in the PW6000 project with a 7,5% stake. The Us aeronautical constructor Pratt & Whitney manufactured-by engine, which has already received FAA certification and completed successfully its first test flights, is going to power A-318s, the aircraft produced by the European giant manufacturer Airbus.
