Attempted hijacking on an Iranian aircraft
Teheran, Iran - A man threatened to set himself to fire
On board security staff prevented a Maha airline aircraft in service from Kerman to Teheran with 138 passengers on board to be hijacked. A 45-year old man in fact, threatened to set himself to fire whether crew members would have not allowed him to enter cockpit. Promptly blocked by the security officers on the plane, he was then arrested once landed in Teheran. (m/cesn)
