September 11th: Nato Awacs will not patrol Us skies anymore

Brussels, Belgium - Operation "Eagle assist" will in fact finish next May 16th

"Eagle assist", the Nato patrolling and survellaince operation upon Us skies started last October 9th, is going to finish as from May 16th. After 360 reconnaissance missions for a total 4300 hours of flight, Atlantic Pact Awacs will not fly over America anymore "following", as stated in Brussels by the Atlantic Council, "a Us recent evaluation about its domestic security needs".
