Russian helicopter crashed in Siberia
Moscow, Russia - General Lebedev among the victims
A Russian military helicopter Mi-8 crashed yesterday in the surroundings of Abakan, in Siberia. On board of the aircraft, at least 10 people, none of which survived the incident, was also flying general Alexander Lebedev. At the moment governor of the Siberian Krasnoyarsk province, Lebedev is the man who put an end to the first Russia-Chechnya conflict in 1996. (m/cesn)
