AMERICAN ORDERS SIX NEW JUMBO JETS
FORTH WORTH, TEXAS, American Airlines has ordered six new jets worth almost $400 million from Boeing Co. The six planes, two huge 777-200IGWs for international service plus four 737-800s "fit nicely with our plans to look for international and transcontinental opportunities where we have been successful in opening new routes or expanding existing services" said American's chairman Donald Carty.
