Airbus always hopes to enter in U.S. tanker procurement contract
Toulose, France - First contract signed with Boeing for 100 aircraft
After that the contract for 100 tanker aircraft, valued 20 USDbn, has been assigned by U.S. government to Boeing, French aircraft maker Airbus president, Noel Forgeard, said in a press meeting " we are not embittered, I am only a few sad". Airbus, however, hopes always to have procurement for at least one part of the additional 300 tanker which have to be buyed by Air Force (Gio/B)
