U.S. government will buy 18.000 Russian air-to-air missiles

According to declaration of an official of Russian Vympel industry, the U.S. government is to buy 18.000 Russian-made RVV-AE air-to-air missiles, to be sold to foreign users of the F-15 and F/A-18 aircraft. This due to U.S. laws that prohibit the use of foreign weapons on U.S. Army aircraft. (Gio/B)
