Smiths Group cuts other 1450 jobs
London, Great Britain - The Group yet cut other 1600 jobs in 2001
After to have dismissed 1600 jobs in the last year, following its merge with TI Group, the British Smiths Group announced that in 2002 it will cut further 1450 jobs, on a total workforce of 36,000, of which 13,000 in the United States. (Gio/B)
