BIG LOSSES FOR AMR- AMERICAN AIRLòINES
FORT WORTH, AMR Corp., the holding of American Airlines carrier, has announced a net loss of 734 USDm in the last quarter of the year 2001, while in the year 2000 there had been a surplus of 56 USDm. The amount represent a loss of 5.17 USD for each share; the company spokesman Don Carty said that the bad result is due to the effect of the terroristic attacks of September 11th.
