NEW MULTIMEDIA COMMUNICATIONS FOR CIVIL AVIATION

ROME, FCC (Federal Communication Commission) certified the Boeing device that can be used for a broad band of frequencies destined to multimedia airborne links, i.e. Internet, Intranet, TV, e-mail and so on, that has been named Connexion. The main part of the hardware is a satellite antenna; furthermore technicians already plan to monitor crews health in real time with proper sensors.
