MCDONNELL DOUGLAS AWARDED A NEAR 480 USDM CONTRACT
USA, McDonnell Douglas Corp., Berkeley, Mo., was awarded on Dec. 27, 2001, a $479,992,859 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for 11, 332 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) Lot 6 guided vehicles. The JDAM weapon system provides the Air Force and the Navy with an improved aerial delivery capability for existing 1,000- and 2,000-pound bombs. This work will be complete October 2003....
