AIRBUS TO TRIM ITS WORKFORCE

PARIS, Airbus chairman Noel Forgeard said a french radio station that the company is planning to shed about 2000 workers next year. "In particular we plan to shed workers over the age of 57 and a half", explained Forgeard. Airbus currently has 47.000 employees.
