USA, L'industria canadese Pratt&Whitney Canada Corporation ha annunciato di avere effettuato il primo volo di un elicottero UH-1 Huey equipaggiato con la nuova turbina PT6C-67D. P&WC prevede di ottenere la certificazione di questo nuovo motore per il febbraio del 2002.
