GENERAL ELECTRIC AIRCRAFT ENGINES AWARDED A 411 USDM CONTRACT
USA, General Electric Aircraft Engines, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $411,000,000 contract for the Phase IIIb pre-system development and demonstration for the F136 propulsion system for the Joint Strike Fighter Air System Program. Work is expected to be completed in April 2005. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
