AUSTRIAN AIRLINES CUTS 930 JOBS

VIENNA, AUSTRIA, The Austrian group Austrian Airlines spokesman said that until end of 2002, is planned the cut of 930 jobs, 12% of the overall workers. This is part of a reorganization plan to reduce costs. The group, which includes Austrian Airlines, Lauda Air AG, Tyrolean Airways and Rheintalflug, will close 2001 financial exercise with a 150 EURm loss.
