IBERIA TO IMPLEMENT ADJUSTMENT PLAN
MADRID, Spanish Iberia expects to save Pta100bn by implementing its adjustment plan in the next two years. The airline will reduce production by 11 per cent and is to cut 3.000 jobs. In addition, the expenditure and investments will be cut by Pta27bn. Angel Mullor, chief executive, said the savings are caused by the risk of going bankrupt.
