LISBON, Tap Air Portugal announced that it earned $32,8 million in the third quarter ended Sept. 30, up 410% from the previous year. In the first nine months of 2001 operating revenues rose by 8,5% and operating profit was eur 17,9 million. September load factor achieved 72% and the carrier earned eur7.6 million, doubling its year-earlier profit, in that month.
