JAS COMPUTER GLITCH CAUSES FLIGHT DELAYS

TOKYO, A computer glitch at Japan Air System host computers handling bookings and releasing tickets caused delays in flights taking off from Haneda, Kitakyushu and Kagoshima airports. JAS employees had to deal with boarding procedures manually. The computer system resumed operations after about two hours.
