VIETNAM AIRLINES TO BUY 9 PLANES
HANOI, Vietnam Airlines is to buy nine planes, five Airbus A321s and four Boeing 777s, state-controlled media reported Friday. Despite the decline in air travel and the rise of insurance premiums, the airline does not intend to lay off any workers, said Nguyen Xuan Hien, the carrier's General Director.
