DELTA LAYS OFF 2000 EMPLOYEES
ATLANTA, Delta Air Lines announced today that it will lay off 2000 employees. About 11.000 of the 13.000 workers the airline was planning to lay off accepted the company's voluntary leave/early retirement program, so that the employees to be laid off are currently only 2000. Delta said 1700 of them would be pilots.
