AIR CANADA PILOTS OPPOSING LAY OFFS
CANADA, The president of the Air Canada Pilots Association, Don Johnson, said yesterday the union will fight any layoff notices because the contract has job guarantees. Air Canada is expected to lay off about 170 of its 3500 mainline pilots.
