AMERICAN JET MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING AFTER BOMB THREAT
WASHINGTON, An American Airlines Boeing 757 en route from New York to Dallas made an unscheduled landing at Washington Dulles Airport after a note believed to be a bomb threat was found aboard. The 141 passengers were evacuated and the plane was searched. "There was a threat and it is being investigated. The passengers are off the airplane", said Dulles operations manager Paul Malandrino.
