INDIA: NEW FLIGHT SECURITY MEASASURES

NEW DELHI, DGCA, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, requested Indian Airlines more careful maintenance controls over aircrafts. Most of them have been manufactured between 15 and 20 years ago. Indian Airlines was involved in Boeing 737 crash, in which about 60 people were killed, last July. DGCA said it is necessary to increase landing security, because many of the crashes occured during this manoeuvre....
