EMERGENCY LANDING AFTER PLANE'S ENGINE FAILS
USA, An America West Airline aircraft carryng 100 people made an emengency landing at Sky Harbor International Airport. The Boeing 757 flying from San Francisco to Phoenix had an engine shut down when the pilot reduced power while descending to land. The aircraft landed safely. The plane was taken out of use for an examination as to why the engine failed.
