CATHAY PACIFIC TRAFFIC DECLINES IN SEPT.

HONG KONG, Cathay Pacific said today that the global economic slowdown had a sharp impact on September's results. The number of passengers fell 12.1% year-on-year to 871,126. Cargo traffic decreased 12.2% to 61,420 tons. The airline is to temporarily cut flights by 4% suspending some trans-pacific routes.
