VIRGIN TO REINFORCE COCKPIT DOORS

LONDON, Virgin Atlantic announced a plan to increase cockpit security by reinforcing flight-deck doors and fitting additional bullet-proof doors with video cameras and digital locks to give access only to crew members. The new measures must be cleared by the Civil Aviation Authority and approved by pilots' union Balpa.
