AER LINGUS CUTS 2500 JOBS

DUBLIN, Aer Lingus said it is to cut 2500 employees, over a third of its 7000 workforce. The airline was hit by bookings drop of up to 80% on some routes. In addition, the carrier reduced flights schedule by 15%.
