THAI AIRWAYS APPOINTS NEW BOARD AND CEO

BANGKOK, Thai Airways International Plc appointed a new chairman and board of directors this morning. Virabongsa Ramangkura, named new ceo for the airline, said "thai government is determined to make Thai Airways a world leader". Virabonga will chair the first meeting of the board, scheduled for next tuesday, to choose the president.
